Hi, Does anyone know what labs to get for viral testing? I am looking for a one time test. Not serologies that have to be repeated in 4 to 6 weeks.
I am anxious to start antivirals. I have a sore throat that has lasted for over a month. I have Lyme, Babes and Bartonella. But I think my viruses have reactivated.
I have previously been positive for coxsackie, EBV and CMV.
I have an apt. with Dr Chia, after waiting for 2 years.
Thanks for your help, jvs

I have never tested for virus infections, but I know I have them.
My recommendations:
L-lysine daily, which is a great antiviral amino acid. An LLMD told me to take it every day.
Olive leaf extract, which has a general antibiotic effect. You need to replenish gut health with probiotics.
Vitamin C is great for fighting viruses.
One product that has been effective for me was called virustop, now called enzyme defense.
It's digestive enzymes that eat the outer part of viruses.
Take it on an very empty stomach, and it goes systemic, rather than digesting food.
It works fairly quickly, and is very effective, but doesn't last a long time and is expensive.
It really has helped my get relief while waiting for other products to kick in.
One last thing--I have been using a Doug Coil rife machine for 3 years now.
Symptoms of LD, bart, babs and strep throat only show up if I don't rife for a while--say 2 weeks or more, depending on the infection.
