Are you searching for a new primary doctor? Are you searching for a new pain management doctor? Are you searching for a new neurologist? Are you searching for any new specialist?
YOU MUST RESEARCH ANY AND ALL NEW PROVIDERS.
As there is currently long waiting times to become a new patient in any medical providers practice, you cannot afford to waste precious time, only to find out your choice wasn’t a right fit for your medical needs.
Here are a few tools that will help you make an educated decision!
This look-up tool is a searchable database that allows you to look up a Medicare Part D prescriber by National Provider Identifier (NPI), or by name and location for 2021.
You can search by using full Doctor’s name and State location. I find using their NPI number works 100% of the time. To find their NPI number, use this ⬇️
Or you can do regular google searches of your doctor on internet. Heathgrades or Vitals websites don’t list the NPI numbers but other websites do. NPI numbers inserted in the Medicare link work 100% of the time for prescribing history.

Thank you, Bartenderbonnie, this is very helpful!! Who knew? I've never heard of such a look-up. It also gives you some idea of how much treatment a particular doctor is doing, that is the volume of patients in Lyme or whatever, plus what they are willing to rx.
I found some surprises, ie, a few LLMDs are willing to rx low-level opioids, which usually they aren't, as it's dangerous for them to do so in terms of The Powers That Be coming down on them.
