I'm looking for something to help with muscle pain specifically, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia before I found out I have Lyme, the pain is all over muscle pain but mainly in my arms and legs.

The muscle pain gets a lot worse after I use the muscles for example, brushing my teeth makes my arm pain a lot worse and walking to the toilet makes my leg pain a lot worse which makes it difficult to do anything.

Things I find helpful - warm baths and epsom salt baths which I can't do atm bc they make POTS worse. Infrared sauna's but I can't do atm bc I'm having PEM / crash in terms of ME / CFS from over doing it. Topical CBD oil and other topicals but the house is way too cold atm to be getting undressed or wearing fewer clothing and putting topicals on my arms and legs. Yoga and stretching but I'm not able to do that atm due to severe ME / CFS.

I'm currently taking CBD oil, magnesium l threonate, low dose naltrexone and Lyrica / pregabalin which help overall pain a little. I'm thinking about trying some THC edibles to try and maybe a far infrared heat pad to rotate around arms and legs?

Any other suggestions specifically to help this muscle pain? I've realised it restricts my quality of life and physical ability a lot so I want to do something about it. Thank you!

"In conclusion, this study shows that HBOT may have a good effect in improving pain, tender points, fatigue, multidimensional function, patient global and sleep disturbance in FM, with reversible side effects. Low pressure (less than 2.0 ATA) may be beneficial to reduce AEs in patients with FM."

At the risk of sounding like a broken record. Please check out the very long thread of mild hyperbaric oxygen treatment in this medical forum.

I have FMS symptoms from my lyme. I have done most of what you used minus the CBD products, Lyrica and LDN (I did not tolerate it).

When I get in my mild hyperbaric chamber one of the first things that it helps is my FMS type pain.

Thank you so much for sharing that with me! HBOT is definitely a fab long term solution I guess I'm looking for a more short term solution

The thing that really works for me is ReMag. I need twice the dose (1 tsp per day) but it is amazing stuff. Regular magnesium gives me no relief.

Just recently I had terrible unrelenting pain in my neck and traps. I realized I had not been taking my usual amount (1 tsp). Once I started taking it the pain improved immensely. And it doesn't take much time (1 day or so).

It doesn't eliminate the pain totally but it might be worth a try.

I would be interested in knowing if the oral gummies help.

I have been using a product from cbd-medic for my traps and neck. I love it. First topical that has given me any relief. However it has camphor and menthol as active ingredients so you will stink for a while. Plus I don't know how practical it is for entire body use.

thank you for your responses! I looked up the ReMag, it has really amazing reviews! Do you know how it differs from taking other forms of magnesium like citrate, malate, threonate etc?

I will let you know if I try the oral dummies!
