Yes, Babesia. It affects the red blood cells.

I am covered in them. Always remember them in my adult life. I have tested positive with Quest for Babesia microti.
And no, treatment did not make them go away.

The pictures show Cherry angioma (not petechaie). They are reportedly very common in people over 30. Unknown if there is a higher association with TBD.
Petechaie are tiny broken blood vessels under the skin which can be grouped together to look like a rash. It has been associated with Babesia and Bartonella, among other causes.

Phoiph, I agree with you.
I have a lot of cherry angiomas. They are bigger than petechaie.

does anyone get the straight line red dots I mentioned? Only a little longer than an inch.

Marz,
I had petechiae when I was ill with Lyme and coinfections (including Babesia and Bartonella).
If I scratched my skin, a line of tiny dots (broken blood vessels/petechiae) would appear under the skin. This was different than "Bartonella streaks" that are often reported.
If you Google pics of petechiae, you can compare to what you are experiencing.

I have the little red dots and I think I have only Lyme.
