Have made significant progress against Lyme and coinfections since restarting flagyl earlier this year. (Wish I'd started much earlier.) Sleep greatly improved. Adding in itraconazole is even more effective.
Thoughts on what these two meds could be hitting? I know itraconazole works on aspergillus, which has been a problem for me in the past as well, but I haven't had such a positive reaction from it alone.

It is my understanding that they use Flagyl in Lyme treatment to target the cyst form and biofilms. Kudos on tolerating it. I never could.
Itraconazole is used for yeast/fungus, that typically can form due to use of antibiotics. I read some Lyme docs will use it if mold symptoms/exposure are present.
What ever the case, I am thrilled for you that they found some meds that are helping. Make sure you are monitoring your Liver labs.
