Hi all~
Anyone know a Dr. D. D., from the Univ. of Colorado..... How well does he know about lyme?
Our local ID doctor has asked him to come address our local doctors on lyme disease. When I asked an LLMD about him he said "He's worse than Dr. Steere."
So, any insights that you have would be helpful....
Thanks Lymetoo for the comment about names...didn't know that it applied to non-LLMD doctors!

Hello timaca!!
This sounds like a complete crock to me!!! Double crock!!
If you want an LLMD to address local doctors about Lyme, please contact me for the name. You'll be glad you did. My -mail is below.
How is it that this topic came up for your local doctors?? That's the good news!!!

Hi Lightfoot~
I asked the hospital to approve a course on lyme disease for the doctors, since everyone in AZ missed my diagnosis.
They agreed, but they then gave the task of selecting the speaker to our local ID doctor, who happened to miss my diagnosis!
The secretary in charge of contacting this ID doctor in Colorado, is sympathetic to my cause...all I want is a doctor who can explain how to diagnose lyme disease.
If need be, they can go into the 2 "camps" surrounding the lyme disease debate. I'm fine with that. BUT, it needs to be a balanced presentation.
I also want someone who treats lots of lyme patients....not someone who sits behind a desk at a university saying they know about lyme disease....so, we'll see what happens, but I'd love a name of a doctor who would be willing to travel to AZ.....
