I have a LYME doctor already in MD. He said that since the last test a URINE test. Said my lyme is gone or in remission. He no longer can treat me. But, I still have after effect of damages do to the Lyme and the co infections. Babesisa and Borellia. What kind of doctor do I need to see? Where can I find one? In my area? I am in so much pain and agony. I thought I had to see a Rheumatologist. Went to see one today 1/19/06. He told me the reason I had arthristis is because I was TOO FAT!!! Forget the damage of the lyme that has been running havoc for over 21 years. He didn't care. He only saw a fat person and that is all that was interested in. Any and all help would be appreicated. I have medicare/medicaid.

Have you tried Dr. L in Baltimore or Dr. S in DC?
There are a couple more around that might be able to help you. There is a DO B. in the Baltimore area.

I believe ILADS has a number you can call or perhaps a web site that can tell you LLMD's in your area. Or at least Lyme friendly doctors. Some maynot be so literate about it, but they try. And a couple even take insurance.

Good luck.

I see doctor "S" in Baltimore. He said, he cannot treat the effects of damage the tick gave me from the Lyme, Babesisa, Bartonella. He can only treat me for live test. Once all my test become negative. I have to leave his office.
I want to find a doctor that can help me to fix all the damage all 3 of these diease has caused to my body over the years. Is there such a doctor?
