Hi-
I am new to your web-site and I hope someone can help me!! I was bite by a tick about 2 months ago. I was tested by my family Dr and my Western Blot test showed acute recent Lyme infection. She gave me doxycycline 100mg twice a day for 3 weeks. I have a very hard time taking this medication. And I feel TERRIBLE!!! I won't go into all the details as you proably know them all!!! Can anyone PLEASE direct me to a good Lymes treatment center in New Jersey (South Jersey ,if possible) or maybe Phila. PA? Your help would be GREATLY appreciated!!! You can email me at [email protected] or I will keep checking message board. Thanks again!

Do not bother trying to find a clinic or major hospital to treat your Lyme disease. I will send you a PM.

Also as far as I know there arent any lyme literate drs (llmd) in south jersey.

I think there are a few in central.

Do you still need a llmd?

Hi Everyone!!
I just wanted to say THANKS so much for all your time and suggestions and help!! [Smile] ) I had an appointment yesterday with one of the Dr's that was recommended. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He changed my medication for my Lymes and also is retesting me. And much to my suprise...he wants me tested for MALARIA !! I have been very sick for the past year ...even before the Lymes, and it started when I came back from vacation in the Bahamas. I am on my way now to get my first test. I would be amazed if I really did have it...but you never know I guess!! I will keep you updated!! I just wanted to say I really appreciate all your help!! Thanks and good luck to all!!!
