Thank you to all the volunteers who give their time so generously.
In late June, 2007 I came down with a terrbile "flu" in which all of my joints ached terribly. It resoved in a couple of days so I never went to the doctor and didn't think too much about it.
In mid August I had a chiropractic adjustment that left me in agony for a week and then merely in pain for another six weeks. Since that time I have had migrating arthralgias. Today it's in my left hand so having a hard time typing! Previous to this I was very healthy, taking 5-6 yoga classes a week. Now I can't go for a walk or my feet/ankles/knees swell and become painful.
I have seen three doctors, an MD, a chiropractor , an an osteopath, who all mentioned lyme in passing. Through research on the internet I have come to the conclusion that I do have Lyme and have been treating with varius alternative modalities. It seems important however to also get an MD invovled in my care. I am going to ask my GP to order tests from Bowen and Fry labs so if I do find an LLMD I will be ready with my results.
I spoke with a receptionist in the office of a LLMD in Northern VA but was told that this person is only accepting patients to a waiting list. I put my name on the list but I'm hoping that's not my best option.
Agian, thnks for any help you can give me!
Jeanne

you mentioned sending to both bowen and fry labs.
