Hi again! Here is some info about me. I live in Tampa, Fl. I am a 39 year old female and mom to two small kids, a 2 year old girl and 5 year old boy. In Sept 2006, I developed a round rash on the inside of my upper thigh on my left leg while we were on vacation at Disney World. It was definitely a bullseye rash. It didn't hurt, it didn't itch, so I really didn't do anything about it. A few weeks later, I got all the typical symptoms of Lymes, and though doctors frown upon internet searching of symptoms, its a good thing I did it because I had gone for bloodwork in October because I was feeling so badly. I mentioned to the doctor I wanted the blood tested for Lymes because I had that rash and they laughed at me! No joke. They said Lymes is not big in Florida. Well, I had been in NY in August and since then have learned that Lymes sure enough IS in Florida. Long story short, my bloodwork came back two weeks later and I was positive. (Oct 2006) But because this was my general practicioner and they were not/are not familiar with this disease they simply prescribed me anti-biotics for 2 weeks and that was that. I did feel better almost instantly.
Fast forward 1 1/2 years to now. About two months ago I started developing symptoms again but didn't know Lymes could recur. I am feeling awful and know its Lymes again. I am seeing an internal specialist later today but don't know if he will help at all. I am feeling depressed about the whole thing, like no one believes what I am saying. Thats why I need someone who knows what they're doing.

ETA: I forgot to mention symptoms. Mostly I have body/muscle aches that move around, stiffness in my back, neck, fingers...burning sensations in my joints, very irritable, exhasuted at times, sleep issues, I get what seem to be pinhead type cysts on the tips of my fingers, fatigue.
