My mother lives in NJ and (long story short)has been under a rheumatologist's care and on prednisone, methotrexate for her pain and inflammation she developed in June.
She's been tested several times for Lyme... all negative. She is seeing a naturopathic doctor near me (in PA) who believes she has Lyme. He recommended a special test but she needs to be off her meds for three months to do it.
I would like her to see a doctor who specializes in Lyme near her (Liberty Corner, NJ).

Make sure she stops the prednisone ASAP - I believe you have to slow down the dosage... but it made my son 10x worse. Stop it safely, but stop it.
You will get responses to your doctor's request. There are people on the board who keep lists.
I hope your mom has a speedy recovery. You are heading the right direction in finding an LLMD!
