I have been struggling with Lyme disease for a few years now and I have never been to a lyme literate doctor which is why I have not gotten better. I am looking for a doctor in New York near Westchester County if possible but I am willing to travel within New York.

I know Dr. H. is accepting new patients at this time but he does not accept any insurance and it is almost *** dollars just for the first visit. I am hoping to find a doctor that takes my insurance. Please help!

*** Removed name of doctor, city, and the amount he charges*** (see Lymenet rules)

*Most* LLMD's don't accept insurance, unfortunately. I used to fly up to see Dr. H .... he was worth it .... I came from Ohio.

Good luck! I don't have a list or I'd give you a referral ...

I am in Washington County... I travel to the capital region to see a great pediatrician LLMD, but don't know of an adult doctor who takes insurance.

It's unfortunate because I know a lot of adults with lyme symptoms!

My son's pediatrician gave me 3 referrals to adult LLMDs and none of them take insurance.

How far are you willing to travel?

I'll send you a PM with what I have.

May health be with you!

Toxic mold was suppressing our immune systems, causing extreme pain, brain fog and magnifying symptoms. Four days after moving out, the healing began.

Sending you a PM. But finding a LLMD who takes insurance is hard. And In MY opinion the better and best LLMDs DON'T take insurance. Every LLMD I've been to that takes insurance has been bad, and not knowledgable enough to get me healthy.

Good Luck to you.
