Wondering if anyone knows anything about a dr. M in Mass. a friend was told she's negative, yet her western blot shows positive for 5 titers. she said she was under the impression that this doc was a "lyme doctor". Any suggestions?

- I'm not sure where the suggestion for that doctor came from so can't speak to the specifics - and not from that state.
Hopefully, others who do know can reply and clear up whatever misconceptions may be involved.
IDSA member Infectious Disease doctors will say they treat lyme but, by the IDSA definition, it's no big deal. The IDSA and ILADS differences are highlighted in links below.
Be sure to have your friend connect with all the area lyme support groups that are "ILADS minded" and you might pass along these threads, too:
(What ILADS is) . . . WHY you need an ILADS-educated, Lyme Literate Doctor - starting with assessment / evaluation. -
