Hi all. I'm writing on behalf of a dear friend who lives in Lancaster County, PA. He is a special case because he already has brain problems due to a BOTCHED sinus surgery! (Leaking fluids, bouts w/severe pain)

He had multiple tick bites about 3 years ago, and started taking oral abx (for 2 mos.) which treatment ended a few weeks ago. Now he says he's feeling worse and he's realizing that his doctor was NOT an LLMD.

Can anyone recommend a very special LLMD for a very special friend? Someone who is accessable from Lancaster County (Amish Country), Philadelphia or even the DC area? (He sees neuro specialists there.) Anything you can tell me about these docs would be most helpful.
Thanks a million!!!

Sent you a name for D.C. and information.

I have heard from many in the Philly and New Jersey area that there aren't any good lyme docs there. Many from those areas come to Maryland and D.C. as a result. So, that may be why nobody has sent you names for those locations.

I am told there are a couple in PA, but their wait times are 10 months and 1 year.

Actually, there is a Lyme doc (ID specialist) in Morristown who is said to be as good as, or better than Dr. H! He also takes most insurance.
