I am looking for anyone who will treat me in New Hampshire. I had a definite bull's eye rash in mid June and was tested. Came up negative.
Shortly after Labor Day pains in my joints began and continue to worsen. Hands swollen like mitts. Got tested again and was told it's negative. Went through extensive testing for everything from a brain tumor to Gout but can't find someone to just try working with me like I have Lyme. Please help!!

Hi Nancy - a bull's eye rash basically means Lyme disease. The tests don't always come back positive even though we may have Lyme. Doctors are poorly educated about Lyme disease. We need to go to Lyme-treating doctors.
The doctor you see will help treat you. We are all different in how we respond to treatments. My swollen joints respond well to a simple anti-inflammatory, turmeric. I buy it in bulk and dip a capsule in it. Works pretty quickly to ease my joint swelling.
