No but my current doctor refuses to test for it...thinks its too "rare" (although in my town alone there were 6 cases this year so far) .

Hi Bob, I got Lyme in Dayton (Centerville) 35 years ago. It's been there for a long time.
I know of three people in Lebanon diagnosed last year. Your doctor is wrong, as you already know.
I fly to NY for treatment ... if you want that doctor's number, let me know by PM. He's a great LLMD and I'm getting better. The other people I know either go to NY or CT for their LLMD's.
The ONLY reason there is "no Lyme" in Dayton is because the doctors there refuse to diagnose it!!! My CDC positive test was not reported because my local doctor still refused to believe I had it.

I live in the Cleveland area. Someone I know recently went camping in Cinncinati and came back, got sick and had a CDC positive case of lyme. Trust me, it's there!!
