I've seen more posts from So. Cali lymies lately, something must be happening down here.

I live in Santa Monica, and I've had it for about 2 years. Seems others that have it have also had it for about 2 years. Did something change down here in the last 2 years?

I'm not sure where I was infected, but I used to hike quite a bit near Will Rogers park in Malibu. I dont' hike anymore, but that is where I suspect I was bitten.

Did the others that have recently been diagnosed or suspect having lyme hike in that area?

Hi! I have responded to 21 people from OC and LA counties since June 7th. and it seems to be picking up speed.
I have hiked LA mountains a lot. But I got bit in Anza (San Diego) while riding horses on the PCT.

Hi,
I live in Ventura CA. and believe my husband and I got it two years ago as well. He works in the oil fields and tends to bring them home. He recalls at that time there were some big fires. I can't remember where exactly but he thought it could have something to do with it??

Daughter confirmed tick bite in Ventura County. Specifically, Ojai Mtns.

IMO reason it seems SouCal getting more cases may have to do with more LLMDs either practising in SouCal or SouCal residents getting properly treated in NoCal. Just MO.
