Has anyone seen Dr. H. in western massachusetts? Will she treat with negative lyme test? Long term antibiotics? Spoke with her on phone and planning on sending her my info.
Looking for some feedback from any of her patients.
Thanks in advance, JT

I have not seen her, myself, but I've heard very good things about her. Heard that she does a lot of research in addition to clinical practice.
Also takes LD very seriously, treats aggressively, will often put right onto IV abx.
If you do see her, I'd like to know how it went, what you thought.
The main reason I didn't seek her out is that I'm homebound, and the trip/office visit would have been brutal for me, so I stuck with an LLMD I consult by phone, which has worked well since I tested positive.
But it would be good to know about other options, should the desire for a second opinion arise.

I won't see her until June but I figure it will be worth the wait to see someone who has a clue about lyme.
My docs in southeastern mass agree that I probably have chronic lyme but no one seems to know how to treat it...I am planning on begging for antibiotics at my neuro appt. next week!
I'll keep you posted!

I have been seeing her for a few months and am very happy thus far. While I had a positive Lyme test 10+ years ago my recent results came back negative and she didn't bat an eye to continue treatment.
She has also been very helpful answering questions and changing my antibiotics when the biaxin/plaquenil didn't agree with me.
Best of luck! Please share your experience with us.
