Hello, Over the past month or so I have noticed that I have been getting sick/feeling sick more than usual. I am turning 30 this year and thought that some of the tiredness, sorenes and lack of sleep was due to my new born, but recently (2 days ago) my wife discovered a red bite with a circular ring around it on the back of my shoulder.
Knowing the signs of Lyme and specifically the rash, I immediately went to my family Physician. The PA saw me that morning and I described the symptoms and showed her the rash. They took blood for the WB test and started me on Doxycycline (100mg) for 21 days at 2X day.
Although I am glad for the treatmen in lieu of results, I wanted to follow up with a more LLMD, uder recommendation of a coworker who's entire family was misdiagnosed for Lyme. Could someone please point me in the direction of a specalist. Thank you,
