I'm in the Twin Cities and am in what I have considered a really nasty fibro flare. My pain doc recommended I see a rheumatologist to be sure that fibromyalgia is all that I'm dealing with. It occurred to me that I should find someone who can test me properly for lyme disease right off the bat.

About 20 years ago (I think) I had an engorged deer tick bite without the rash. I've had a lot of fatigue and pain over the past 15 years, coming to a head about a year ago when I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I think a lyme test was done at that point, but I believe it was negative and I have no clue what type it was. I'm aware that several types need to be done to thoroughly rule lyme out. A friend of mine sent me the Burrascano Guide and it sounds eerily familiar in way too many details for me to not really dig into finding out if this is actually lyme disease.

Thank you!

I'm sorry but I am no longer accepting any private messages due to my own battle with lyme.
