My six year old boy just started the 28 day anti-biotic treatment. We are not sure how long he had the infection.
Symptoms were: Fatigue and inability to move one leg. We took him to the pediatrician when we noticed the leg symptoms. Blood work was positive a few days after the appointment. He currently complains of stomach pain from the treatment.
We are looking for a Lyme disease specialist in Northern Virginia for long-term treatment want to know if there are any insurance "road blocks" ahead using a Lyme disease specialist.
