I am looking for an LLMD in GA however, most research I have done indicates there are none here. Ideally I'd like to find someone local but I am willing to travel if necessary.

I also am looking for one around the Georgia area. I actually live in California and came here to visit my parents in May. I've been stranded ever since due to my debilitating symptons, so if I could be PM'ed with doctors around Los Angeles in the California area as well, I'd appreciate it.

Check the online state Lyme groups at:
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/georgialyme

Maybe they can help you.

Some more resources for you:
www.lyme-aware.org/georgia.html
http://lsan.net

I don't know of any in GA, but someone in a support group may know of one!

Here are a few prior posts regarding lyme docs in Georgia:

http://flash.lymenet.org/scripts/ultimatebb.cgi/topic/2/23023?

http://flash.lymenet.org/scripts/ultimatebb.cgi/topic/2/22917?

I can give you the name of a top notch lyme doctor in Washington, D.C. After the first in-person appointment, she will do telephone appointments, so you only have to travel to D.C. once or twice per year.

If you want the name, send me a private message. Just click on the envelope icon above my post.

I strongly suggest you consider going to this doctor. The south just doesn't have the top notch doctors that you find in D.C. and further north.

Matheus, I suggest you start your own post and put in the title that you need lyme doctors around Los Angeles, Calif.

Nobody from Calif. is going to open this thread because the title is Georgia. And the east coast folks who open this thread don't know any Calif. doctors.

This way, you should get some help!
