Please encourage your doctors (and other qualifying professionals) to apply for a CALDA GRANT to attend the upcoming, October 2007, ILADS and LDA Conferences. It is such a great opportunity for them. And we sure need more educated doctors.
The criteria for a grant... in a nutshell: 1) Be a first time attender of an ILADS/LDA conference. and 2) Have the legal ability to write a prescription for antibiotics.
CA, OR, NV and WA professionals who meet this criteria can receive up to $800 in reimbursements!!!! Professionals from all other states can recieve up to $500!!!!

PS: Hand out applications with an info sheet to every doc in town! (Primaries, pediatricians, psychiatrists..etc etc) Just giving them an application and info sheet will help raise awareness.
