I, too, wonder which Dr. S. you're referring to. I've gotten frustrated with Dr. Sw. because of not changing the orals now for over 10 months, despite new and intensified symptoms. I live in Ohio, but I just made an appointment with a Dr. in NJ. '

Hi There

I saw Dr. Sw in PA for a while. He had put me on oral antibiotics it seemed forever with no improvement. Eventually, I brought up the topic of IV rocephin. That put me in a remission for a year and a half. I think that like a lot of LLMD's, he just has so many patients that it helps to be your own advocate.

You know......
I've been my own advocate for soooo long. I'm just really exhausted and have nothing left to give most days. We absolutly need Dr.s who know the ropes and are inovative and willing to switch meds when one is not working.
I think we all agree that we need to know we can trust our LLMD's. We wouldn't be in their office if we didn't think they could help us.

I've self treated for several years now.... I'm so ready to let someone experienced take the reigns.

I've researched so much.... my brain is numb....
I need to rest.

I definitely know what you mean there. I feel really overwhelmed sometimes with having to seek out the best new ways to treat. And trying to find a GP that will een take Lyme seriously is almost impossible! I would LOVE to find someone to "take the reins". Please let me know if you do!
