I am desprately searching for help in Aust as there are no Lyme Literate Docs & labs experienced in Lyme.

My tests have all come back -ve for 7 years - I did have 1 test recently & IgM was +ve & IgG was -ve, but the docs said that was no use?!?!

My insurance company has sent me for 2 independent assessments by an emergency physician & a neuropsychologist - both admit they have no experience in Lyme disease, & think the physical aspects are in my head!

The neuro tests showed I have cognitive impairment so have been diagnosed as having a psychological disorder & hyperchondriasis & want me to return to work!

I am very physically ill and mentally becoming worse. I have thought of coming to USA but can't afford it.

I have a sympathetic doc who is helping me fight the insurance mob & an infectious doc willing to treat me. I am going to follow the Burrascano Guidelines and start IV ceft for 3-6 months. But it is hard guiding them and will get harder when I start herxing.

It would be better if I can find a lyme doc in USA who can work with my docts here & guide them. I would pay of course!

If anyone can help with some contacts in America or who has set this up somewhere else in the world - Anything would help!

i had an idea so i went to top and clicked on DIRECTORY of members.

over on left side go to 2nd line down where you can type something.

i typed in AUSTRALIA
next down..use area and SELECT LOCATION!

i got 40 members from australia who popped up!

now i suggest you contact the members with the HIGHEST MEMBERS WHO ARE THE NEWEST!

send them a PRIVATE MESSAGE; by using this list, yu can click on their name bringing up MY PROFILE and in right hand corner, it says SEND PRIVATE MESSAGE.

ask them who they are going to and see who majority are going to AND ANY IMPROVEMENT IN THEIR HEALTH.

we can help you on US names galore, but it's helpful if you'll tell us what state/s you'd consider.

east coast and west coast have many;

midwest around 12

southern states perhaps a dozen

I did search awhile back and contacted a few people here but no luck.

I will follow your instructions and try again!

As for location, I don't care, so long as the doctors are good and willing to work with my doctors over here!
