Hello all,

I was bitten in 2005 by what I thought was a spider bite on my

forearm by my elbow (Evidence of bite, but no tic observed)

The bite became a large rash (faint inside and the outside darker) This eventually went away.

Months later I developed joint pain and in the summer of 2006

I was hospitolized with viral meningitis I was treated proactively

for Lyme by Ceftriaxone (Lyme was never confirmed though).

Since then I have developed severe migraines and neurological symptoms

related to Lyme disease. I have tested positive by ELISA but my

PCP feels that it was taken care of the year prior by the

Ceftriaxone treatment. I need help finding a doctor/Specialist

in the Massachusetts area.

I also have a question -

Can you test positive for Lyme even though you've "Been treated"

for it, and supposedly cured?

Thanks for the help

A.

Thank you all... I don't know what I would do if there was no Lymenet.

Thanks again
