I was diagnosed in 2001 as having lyme disease. I then was given a 21 day prescription of doxcycycline. I was retested in 2002 and was told i had only a slightly elevated lyme teeter. Doc dismissed this as nothing seeing as though I already had my treatment.I need to know if it is still possible to have lyme or any other coinfections for so long without having symptoms for so long.I presently have joint pain, muscle aches, fatigue, irritable bowel/ diahrea, unexplained pelvic pain. Please let me know what you think, Could it be possible that I still have this in my system after all this time?

Yes, it absolutely IS possible that you still have Lyme!
