Definitely get more help!! Three weeks of meds won't cure anything.

You also need to get tested for coinfections...esp babesia. Babesia causes a lot of migraines and headaches.

Will send you a PM.

I cannot agree with LymeToo enough. Your migraines are a strong indication of central nervous system involvement. By all means PLEASE get to a doctor who is truly knowledgable about Lyme and knows better than to rely on the Infectious Disease guidelines, which are grossly inadequate.

Diagnosis of Lyme disease should never rely on test results; it is a clinical diagnosis that can be confirmed but not negated by blood tests. Blood tests for Lyme are by their nature unreliable. In addition, by the time there are enough antibodies for a test to detect, the disease has already disseminated.

Three weeks of doxy will not begin to treat disseminated Lyme. A good LLMD will make sure your get the evaluation and treatment you need-- and deserve.

Hugs,
Dayle Ann
