Short Version:
First diagnosed with babesiosis about 5-6 years ago.

I did not know it was such a big deal because had many other issues at the time.

I was treated with an abx, cannot remember name, and mebendazol for 4 weeks I believe.

The two years of whole body pain I had suffered even while taking pain medication stopped!!!

I never thought of it again until diagnosed again 11 days ago, but I have never been completely well since that time.

Never regained full energy, food intolerances which began at same time have increased until I can hardly eat anything, and I get sick a lot.

This past year body acted like no immune system. Had back-to-back illnesses from November through April.

My doc is not an LLMD but he is an MD and Homeopathic Doctor who always seems willing to learn.

He diagnosed me with an MSA machine, which I know is not the standard.

I'm convinced that the babesia were still hiding in a few red blood cells all this time like malaria does.

Babesia is a protozoa which inhabits red blood cells like malaria.

Anyway, this doc is very good and will be willing, I'm sure, to work with an LLMD to help me.

I also purchased the book on Babesia by Dr. S in FL.

I would like to find an LLMD here if one in area.

The nearest on the computer list was PA, which I'll do if I need to.
