Hi All,

I just got my lab results, and here are the results. I really appreciate if you can interpret these results:

IgM Western Blot Result:
------------------------
IGENEX IGM Result: Negative

2 bands came out to be IND

39 kDa IND
41 kDa IND

Rest all bands negative.

IgG Western Blot Result:
------------------------

IGENEX IGG Result POSITIVE

18 kDa ++
23-25kDa ++
28 kDa +
31 kDa IND
39 kDa IND
41 kDa ++
58 kDa ++

What does the above result mean, IGM negative and IGG positive.

Do I have the Lyme desease and should I get started on antibiotics?

Thank You

If EITHER test is positive, the overall result is POSITIVE.

Go to Medical Questions and click on the 3rd thread or post. It's titled DR C's Western Blot Explanation.

Tons of valuable information there!!!

For more responses, post your results in Medical Questions.
