I have a friend who's young daughter (5) has a bullseye rash. She has already taken her to the pediatrican and was given Keflex (yeah right!!) for 10 days, but only because she pushed for abx. Obviously, this doctor doesn't have a clue, as many of them do not. She has also been told that her dd will not be treated unless the titers come back positive - again, more misinformation. While I can help her as much as possible, I'm not looking to overwhelm her or be in hysterics or an alarmist - this turns many people off. I have provided her with Dr. B's guidelines as well as the Basic facts from the Ilads website.
I doubt she'll want to travel far, so if anyone knows of a LLMD peditrician in that area or someone who sees children and is somewhat knowledgeable on treatment guidelines, this information would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you.

Does the lack of response via email or pm mean that there are none in the area?

Mvilas, Your post was just posted yesterday, and now this is the week-end when most posters are away from the board.
This child needs a Pediatric LLMD.....look for a PM.
