I apologize for the sudden post. I was just writing to you regarding lyme disease.
To make my story brief, I believe I got it late May- early June. I saw what I thought was an infected spider bite, which later I found that looked exactly like one of the "bulls-eye" rash that people associate lyme disease with. I also remember around that time I had what I guess you would call "flu-like symptoms." I had a fever (99-101) and muscle aches and sore throat. This all blew over in a couple days. I remember the bite took at least 3 weeks to disappear.
Well a week after, I started getting headaches that just would not go away. First it was due to a sinus infection. I took the antibiotics and helped for a couple days and then the headache came back. I have had this headache for about 3 months now. In addition, my back is starting to ache and find that I get fevers quite randomly, never high. I also seemed to have developed a rash on my back, which at the time I took as heat rash.
Point being, I was wondering if in anyone's opinion, this sounded like lyme disease. I went to my general doctor and got a blood test done, should be coming in by the end of the week, she said. However, I am just so nervous that it may come back as a false-negative because of my previous antibiotic use (amoxicillin, flagyl, and levequin: all taken about a month ago) and the steroid nasal spray I use for my allergies. Besides, all these sites about lyme mentions how inaccurate these tests can be.
I am TERRIFIED that if I don't get diagonsed soon, that I will have further troubles that could be dibilitating in the future. Could anyone please provide any help and advice for me, espcially where I should go get treated properly or to find a LLMD near Austin, TX?
Thank you for your time....it is much appreciated, Christina

I will send you info through a PM.
Please realize that the lab your dr used will be very likely to come back false-negative...but COULD come back positive.
At any rate, the bullseye rash is DIAGNOSTIC of Lyme. You have it for sure!!
Too bad you did not get a picture of it. If it comes back, be sure to get a pic. Take one with your face in the pic if you can.
Take one with a ruler next to the rash too.
