Has anyone heard of anyone going to the doctors Johns Hopkins for treatment? What did they think of them? Thank you so much!!!

Stay away!! The "experts" at those big east-coast medical
schools are the ones responsible for making us sick.
Please read up a bit on the scenario we're facing here before
you make any medical decisions.

Forget Hopkins. I went to them seeking a diagnosis after 5 years of being sick. They never thought of lyme. It was a big waste of time. I went to an endocrinologist in private practice 2 weeks later and told him the same symptoms and he said it sounded like lyme and tested me and I was positive.
Also, I took a co-worker for a lyme test and she tested positive but her family took her to Hopkins who, after about 3 months and a panel of doctors, tentatively diagnosed her with Alzheimer's. I hear she is now in an institution.
So, I don't think Hopkins ever sees lyme disease no matter what.

I would take the advice that has been given above but I would also like to recount this story.
I work for a large engineering ddesign firm with offices from Virginia to Florida. About 2 years ago my companies psychologist happened to be in my Florida office. Long story short, I told him about my battle with Lyme and he instantly said that his wife had also been very sick with this illness.
After 2 years of being very, very sick (his words), he took her to Hopkins and a doctor their diagnosed her with lyme disease. He prescribed her antibiotics for over a year and a half and she eventually recovered.
He said that the antibiotic that helped the most was tetracycline and that she had taken it for almost 6 months.
After that he routinely called me to check on my progress and always offered encouragment. He has since left my company for family reasons. I do not know the name of the doctor he saw but what I have written is exactly what he told me.
I would not even think about going to Hopkins for this illness but one person for sure was lucky to find a doctor their who was willing to help.
