My son was just found with 2 bullseye bites about 3 weeks ago. After
researching Lymes due to my son, it has occurred to me that I probably have had
it for several years...Can anyone recommend a DR in this area? I
contacted Stein Goldings but was told she no longer treats Lymes. My
son is currnetly on Ammoxacillin, but being treated by a general
physician whom thinks 2 weeks of anti biotics tehn retest in 4 weeks.
Can anyone help me find a Dr here?

Thanks in advance for any help!

If you're a female, you're in luck! I'll send you some info.

If you don't want your son to become chronic you'll need to get him more meds. I would want 6-8 wks of treatment to avoid becoming chronic.

PS.. It's LYME without an S. [Smile]

Hello,
I see Dr. W in TX. He does not however, treat pediatric or male patients, as he is an OB/Gyn by profession.
My daughter, who also has Lyme Disease and Babesia, sees both Dr. F in LA (about 5 hours from Carrollton) and Dr. C in MO.
We fly to see Dr. C, since it is an 8 hour trip by car.
If you may be interested in seeing any of those docs, please let me know and I will send you their contact info.
I am not aware of any closer docs that treat male patients.
Best of luck, and God bless you.
Lyme Disease is a long, hard road to recovery.
Kindest regards,
Stefanie
