And would you mind PM ing me thoughts about his methods and procedures...

This is the Doctor who uses IVIg and is located in Orange,CT

Does he check for viral, vascular issues and I have mild autonomic neuropathy. Can I rely on him to be through? Is he aggressive with lyme and co's? How does he throw in the auto immune piece?

Do you think he would be worth seeing in addressing some very weird symptoms which possibly have really hit my immune system hard...

I heard his initial visit one should pack a lunch, is that true...

Trying to make sure he's the right doc and any feedback would be helpful

Thank you...

My only notation is that he treats with a positive test only.

Why not try Raxlen or Phillips?

My Mother saw HER several years ago for Ehrlichia and I was very unimpressed. She didn't return phone calls of an urgent nature (My Mother was 80 at the time!)...we finally heard from her a week and a half later! If I were you, I'd travel a few more miles to Dr. P. I agree with Lymetoo - Dr. P. or Dr. R. will be much better bets.

Call Support Groups in CT to see who they are happy with. There's a link on the upper left side of this page. Call if a phone number is listed, rather than emailing. [Smile]

I must say that I've seen Dr. R in NYC - the one you suggest LymeToo. After the initial visit, I had a question, and after many phone and email attempts, could never get a response from him or his office AT ALL. I would *not* recommend him.

I am now seeing, and very highly recommend, Dr. P in Wilton. Very, very good.

I understand this is just my experience, and do not mean to upset anyone who has been successful with Dr. R. Your mileage may vary...

The Doctor K I am speaking of is a man who is located in Orange CT and is a Neurologist.

I am seeing Doc P but have some other issues I would like to get defined.
