He is my daughter's LLMD and by far the most knowledgeable of the three we've seen so far.

She has shown more improvement since seeing him last month than in the last year and a half of tx.

Also, the nurses will call you back almost immediately if you have a question.

In fact, I am switching to him when we go back I February.

My 8 year old daughter and I both have LD, Babesia, and Bartonella.

I'm sure Lymetoo can provide you with info on costs, etc.

If not, PM me and I'll send you all the info you need.

He doesn't take insurance but is well worth it.

Also, stay at the Days Inn while you are there, if you can. The owner, Craig , is absolutely awesome. He gives a discount to all Dr. C's patients. He will also drive you to and from your appointments and around town while you are there. Will send you the contact info if you would like. [Big Grin]

Lymetoo and EchoStef......thanks so much for the great info and reply....

Lymetoo......Unable to pull up the forum discussion you sent me.....not sure why.....

Also, any idea of long term treatment costs if I need a year or two of help.....I think I have been battling this for 20 or so years and I am sure I am not a quick fix.......Maybe a "ballpark figure" if that is possible......thanks in advance......JR

think of it this way,,,

If you drove the nicest Cadilac in town and were mechanically non-inclined

when your motor needed BIG help for a piston with a hole in it,,,

do you take it to the kid down the block that always 'wanted' to grow up to be an expert mechanic 'someday'

just because he needs the experience and it will be okay. He hasnt worked on one ever,,,but sure wants too.

Or the old master mechanic down the street that has seen and done that procedure 1000's of times and can disassemble and reassemble them correctly in his sleep.

Has experience and knows all the little inside tips and tricks of successful motor repair of 30 years.

AND both quote you the same rate?? Oh skip that,,,take the pro WITH experience,,,works every time,,,regardless of cost!!

EVEN if the wet eared newbie kid wants to give you a GOOD deal,,and says he will give you a half priced deal,,,dont worry,,,(It will NEVER be right anyway!!!)

NOW,,,while we are telling stories,,,I can CLAIM to be a rocket scientist too!!!

Moral of THIS story,,,always,,, always,,, ask how much experience your doctor has before you start lyme treatment,,,or open heart surgery!!!

Now after your bored to tears with this long discourse,,,make the appointment and get there ASAP!!!(you HAVE a better option???)

didnt think so says--just don)--
