We're from the Columbus area and we were referred to this doctor at OSU. She isn't listed as a LLMD but apparently she sees rare cases in our area. any thoughts?

Find your local support group and see if others have been treated by her.
You might try contacting ILADS to see if she is a member of ILADS. It would be good if she is, although, more important than being an ILADS member is to have read all the research article of ILADS authors and having attended some ILADS seminars.
First, though, call her office and see if she is a member if IDSA - if so, she will probably treat with IDSA guidelines and that falls short - way short. Still, it's best to confirm the set of guidelines should may use in treatment - with the understanding that each patient's tx might need to be individualized to some degree.
