My first post here, and I'm already asking for favors. Thank you soo much, in advance.
I read that you would appreciate some history..so I will include it. If it's too long, I apologize.
I was bitten 4 years ago by a deer tick and did get the classic "bulls eye" rash. However, I was completely ignorant of the ramifications of this rash. I believed that when the rash went away, and I still felt fine...that I was fine.
2 years ago I started to get very painful hips...and the list goes on from there.
hip pain knee pain back pain heart palpitations migraines fatique short term memory loss vertigo nausea should and neck pain tingling limbs high blood pressure ...etc.
This has all developed out of the blue in the last 2 years. I have had blood drawn for every imaginable thing...including Lyme (standard ELISA, I believe). The Lyme serum test came back at <75. This test was done just last week at my doctors suggestion.
I've had ultrasound, CT scan, and even a colonoscopy and endoscopy due to sever abdominal pain that creeps up every couple of months.
I am scheduled for a lumbar MRI on Friday morning. All of my blood work has come back completely normal.
I live in a county in Minnesota that is considered an endemic area for Lyme. My test did come out negative, but I am not convinced.
I am now on a mission to find answers, and a doctor that will be able to accurately rule out Lyme. Or if not able to rule it out...help!
If there is a good doctor out there that is part of the Fairview/Health Partners network....even better. If not, I will find a way.
Thank you again!! I have been reading and reading this forum for the past 2 weeks and have learned much from all of you.
