I have already seen Dr. S in West Chester and am a little discouraged. He is not running a lot of blood work. He is merely re-testing for Lyme and ELISA. I thought I'd be getting a slew of work-ups. I also heard the ELISA tests are pretty unreliable. He also made a point of discussing my negative spinal tap and how that implies a rhuematologic illness. I can't go back to where I started, not after all this.

I've read wonderful things about Dr. S in Holland, PA. I am most encouraged by her own personal experiences. She truly understands what people with Lyme go through and would not patronize a patient for the complaint of severe symptoms.

From your experiences, do you recommend or not recommend either of these docs? I don't want to waste any more of my time on docs that turn me to someone else. Any help would be appreciated.
