Please post ALL NEW REQUESTS for a doctor in a ``NEW AND SEPARATE POST'' by clicking on the Icon that says "Post New Topic" on the top of this web page.

Our volunteers, who help with LLMD referrals, look for "NEW" requests and don't go back to look at older Topics that have already been answered. We would not want your request to go unnoticed and unanswered.

Thank you much [Smile]

Hi! I was hoping to get a list for an LLMD in NJ too.
I'm new to all of this and as of now i have an appointment with a new dr.

I dont go until Dec. 21 so i was doing some research in the meantime which led me to learn about LLMD.

He is a Lyme Specialist but I have no idea if that means LLMD as well. I see that I can't post his name so if you PM me or however it works I would be able to share it.

Anyone know anything about him?? Either way, a NJ list would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!!!

Welcome to Lymenet KMKD and Tiptoe [hi]

Please check your private messages for the LLMD list for New Jersey and information regarding ILADS, Dr. B's guidelines and lots of helpful links.

Do join in the discussion in our ``medical section'' for additional help, education and support. It's a great place to learn more about this very complex illness. You can also find your local support group on the left hand side of this web page for additional help.

Tiptoe, we usually use the doctors first initial and state to identify a LLMD. If you are still confused after reading the information I sent you, please PM me. Hopefully the doctor you have made an appointment with is on the list.

An LLMD means a lyme literate medical doctor and they belong to the organization called ILADS. All this information has been sent to you.

thank you so much for your detailed email and list. much appreciated! The Dr I have an appointment with is not on the list...but he calls himself a Lyme Specialist. If he is not on the list does that mean anything??

Tiptoe PM me the name of the doctor and how you found him. I may be able to help, if not we can put up a post asking for input from the membership.
