Hi, I have had Lyme Disease for about twenty years and just recently have begun receiving treatment. While that is good my GP is not a specialist and I need to see one for having it gone on so long. I heard that it had to be treated with more than just doxycycline. Could you please give me the name and number of a specialist in the NE area or one that can work with me and my doctor long distance please? It's been very bad. Thank you.

NE is for Nebraska. Thanks. I was bitten in CT, Connecticut, near Old Lyme but do not live there.

I'm very sorry, I was thinking the north east.

There aren't any Lyme specialists in Nebraska nor Lyme Disease Support Groups, as far as I know of, and requests for NE rarely are made......my mistake. Will send info ASAP.

Do you know who might be willing to work long distance? Where can I find some good and technical medical research papers? I hope to go into medical research later and finished organic chemistry.
