Hi I am 44 years old and a mom of 4/stepmom of 4. I was recently diagnosed with Lyme Disease after months of seeking treatment for arthritis type pain.

My tick bites occurred approximately 7 months ago. I did not have a bulls eye rash but did have severe reaction at the site of both bites.

I was prescribed Doxycycline 100 mg for 30 days. This will be my first round and I have only been on it for 3 days.

I am feeling very confused and overwhelmed and have been dealing with pain for months. Doc was originally referring me to rheumatologist although my RA test came back negative.
