I've recently been bitten by a tick with a bullseye rash and flu-like symptoms. Because the ELISA test has shown negative (blood taken only 8 days after the initial bite), my doctor will not provide more than 10 days of antibiotic treatment.
I have CFS and am somewhat immune compromised and am concerned that if I don't hit this hard I will develop a chronic illness (another one).
I'm hoping to find a llmd near my home in Staunton VA in the Shenandoah Valley as driving is difficult due to the CFS, but I can get as far as Richmond or the northern Virgina/DC area if need be.
Thanks so much for your help. M

Thank you, everyone, for your responses. This is so overwhelming, and I feel so bad. I managed to get another month of antibiotics out of my PCP, but I'm getting sicker, not better. I'm in the process of calling for appointments with some of the names supplied. Thanks again so much for you help!
