Can someone please refer me to a LLMD in Maryland. Great if they take insurance, but I am so desperate I don't care at this point. Its like the medical community does not care at all that you are suffering. I live in Annapolis. Please help if anyone can. Thanks

The doc is the key to getting rid of this disease. Can't stress that enough.

I agree, the mainstream medical community does not want to touch a person with lyme disease. That's why we are here helping each other.

I was refused meds beyond 30 days even though my symptoms immediately came roaring back when I stopped meds. And, my PCP was named Washington Top Doc year after year.

The reason is FEAR. They are afraid to deviate from the lyme treatment guidelines established by the Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA). If they do, they could lose their license to practice medicine.

Our lyme docs are brave. They are willing to treat us until we are well !!
