I am 34, just finished a 6 week course of antibiotics after a positive western blot but still have joint symptoms that make walking painful. My MD is chalking this up to residual joint issues after a successful treatment.

I live in Sterling, VA but will be moving to Alexandria in a month so any healthcare provider in the northern VA or DC area would be wonderful.

Thank you.

I am in Arlington, VA and just went to see an infectious disease doctor. They prescribed me four weeks of antibiotics. I had a positive IgM and negative IgG, so it looks to be a recent infection. I still want to see someone in the area who specializes in Lyme. I have CareFirst BlueChoice insurance. Thanks!
