Hello. Could anyone offer any feedback regarding Dr. M in PA?

If you have any experience with this doctor, would you kindly send me a private message?

I'm considering for a 2nd opinion.

Thanks very much!

Anyone? I'm not sure what to do....stay with current? Try Dr. M?

Is it normal for an LLMD to charge $500 for initial consultation?

I sent a private message. I haven't seen Dr. M, but I saw another Lyme doctor in PA who was good. $500 seems very high to me, particularly since insurance probably won't cover it.

Just a follow up...

I am thinking about making an appointment with this doctor, and would really like to hear from anyone who has used him or knows someone who uses him.

I'm wondering how long he has been treating lyme, if others have been treated successfully, etc.

Thanks!

Don't know anything about this Dr but $500.00 or above is the going rate in our area for many of the top notch LLMD's on an initial consult.

Insurance will usually reimburse part of the cost but not all.

Thank you, kimp. Wow, it's amazing how expensive it is to treat this awful disease.

I just heard that it is referred to as the rich man's disease...now I know why. [Smile]

All the best!

Anyone else have experience with this doctor?

Well, I see Dr. M in PA tomorrow. I am very anxious to see what he will recommend.

I have been feeling horrible and really need the piece of mind of knowing that I am getting the right treatment.

If anyone has any experience with him, I'd love for you to share!

Thanks!
