I have been having may symptoms that come back unexplained. I muscle tightness, foggy feeling, balance problems, sweats(especially at night), joint pain, some nuerological problems including electric zapping feelings, and more. I have been to so many doctors and nobody can find anything, not even the 3 neurologist that I have been to. They have ruled out MS, Lupus, HIV, and just about any other disease. My Lyme results have come back negative, but I did not get tested until about a year after my symptoms started. I recently went for an MRI at NYU, instead of the more random small office places,(4th in 2 years) and they said the lesions which have shown up on all of the MRI's seem to be similar to those caused by infections such as Lyme. I want to go to a Lyme specialist not just any ID Doctor. Does anyone have know any in NYC.
