I am looking for a doctor in the New York City area. I have seen multiple doctors in Florida for two separate lyme infections over the past two years. I have been ignoring my symptoms as of late (no doctors, no insurance, no health?) but it is high time I see a doctor that treats lyme infections routinely (versus the ID department at Shands that dismissed me as a patient and I was their second ever lyme case). Any recommendations would help while I'm up here for an internship, Thanks!

I am also searching for a lyme disease specialist doctor in Manhattan, NY who takes insurance. My current doctors suspect after nearly 3 years of various tests and being sent from one doctor to the next that my suffering from multiple symptoms, worst of all being the incapacitating vertigo, dizziness, and constant feeling of imbalance may be a result of lyme disease. Some lyme disease tests came back positive, but not enough for a definite positive my internist said. But given they've exhausted all other options, they think it might be lyme disease now. Only problem is, the specialist doctors they suggested charge anywhere from $400 to $800 per visit and do not accept insurance, so I cnanot afford this!

Am feeling very frustrated and really tired of feeling constantly unwell and having to leave work and social events because of this illness. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I know many in NJ/NYC area...both traditional LLMD's and Holistic/natural practitioners. Also Autonomic Response Technique (ART)(deep form of muscle testing) practitioners...pm me for info.and let me know what you are looking for...as there is no one way to take care of this...there are as many approaches to health as there are different issues with lyme. there is no best LLMD...they are all human and there is no cookie cutter approach.
