Good afternoon.

I am a young professional that was diagnosed w/Lyme about 3 mos ago after having neurological symptoms.

My pcp prescribed 2 wks of doxycycline, which seemed to work well but now some of the symptoms(mainly fatigue but a bit of confusion too) seem to be returning.

My dr is not even open to discussing or retesting for the possibility of Lyme.

Would love to hear from others and/or find a good dr in Massachusetts. I'm in Boston but willing to travel anywhere, although it would be best to have a dr in MA b/c of insurance.

Thank you kindly.

May God bless all of us who have been on this treacherous Lyme journey!

Please consider joining your online state group to get help with local resources. The URL below is not your state group but will tell you how to find yours.

Some people might consider pressuring their reluctant drs by presenting them with the special persistence issue of the Lyme Times, #57, which contains most of the evidence supporting the need for more treatment.
