Can someone recommend a neurotologist in North NJ? I am having a hard time finding one that will take my Ins. Paying oop is not an option right now.

- Hopefully, you will get a name or two. Otherwise,
* Ask your LLMD. Ask all the LLMDs in your area. Just call and ask the office manger if the LLMD has a referral list for a neurotologist.
You should not have to the their patient for them to just give you a name or two.
* Ask at your local lyme support groups.
* * Ask your insurance company for those on your provider list with that specialty. (Would you need a referral from your PCP or be required to first see an ENT - ear, nose and throat specialist?
* Check with the medical centers in your area. Check their websites, ask their operator, etc.
* At those medical centers, contact their community education office and see if they have a Vestibular Support Group or something of a similar name (Inner Ear). Contact the leaders of such groups.
* There may be a professional organization site for neurotologists - I'm too tired to search that out.
* Do a web search, here's just one link that popped up (but I can't get it to go through for my city so as to check its accuracy. I tried a similar site but it left off two excellent names):

- lymeboy,
amberini just posted a great find - a neurotologist right there in northern New Jersey - and he's trained in the Epley maneuver.
If that one does not work out, you could call center in PA and ask if they can suggest someone for you in NJ - or if they can work with your insurance company. Sometimes, it is possible. -
